In 2006, researcher M.L. Abella published a blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science testing adenosine-containing products on facial wrinkles.
126 women ages 45–65 used the products twice daily. Objective measurements showed significant improvements in crow’s feet after just 3 weeks, with results confirmed again after 8 weeks. The adenosine cream also significantly improved glabellar frown lines.
